Some tips for the upcoming APISAT-2023

Dear delegates,
Thank you for signing up for the APISAT-2023 in Lingshui, Hainan Province, China. We are ready to welcome about 600 delegates from China, Australia, Korea, Japan and a few other countries. It will be the largest APISAT since its launch in 2009. Here are some tips for you.

Accommodation and travel to the venue
Please make sure you have reserved your rooms either at the venue hotel or nearby. The way for transportation to the venue is in quite details online at www.apisat2023.com.

Please show the driver the above picture. In case of any emergency, please call Monica (staff) 15339061582 Or the venue hotel reception desk at 86 0898 83388666 for help. For international delegates, please try to contact the domestic chair in your country for coming as a group. If not, please also tell your chair about your flight information. At the airport, there will be a few volunteers to help you with the taxi if we get your flight information ahead of time. The volunteer will hold the below board.

Onsite-Check in
The registration desk is in the venue hotel lobby with the below signs.
Opening time: 3:00pm-8:00pm, Oct. 15 (lobby)
                        7:30am-08:00am, Oct. 16 ( outside the ballroom)

Please prepare your registration ID first to save time. As there are about 600 delegates, it may be crowded a little or takes some time to wait for your turn. Please be patient or check in with the hotel first.

  

Presentations and Slides Upload
For authors who will present papers in Oral form, the oral presentation slot is 15 minutes, including Q&A. Please visit apisat2023.com for the most update program and make sure you will show up at the right time in the right meeting room. No show will be recorded and notified.

The template for slides is available online. Please feel free to use it, but not compulsory.

Please upload your slides to the laptop of your track (1-10). The uploading desks will be located also in the lobby near the registration desk. Time is the same as registration (3-8pm, Oct.15).

Posters
The template for poster is available online in the news column on the homepage of www.apisat2023.com. Please prepare your poster and take it with you. Please stick it onto the boards in the central hall (zone between meeting rooms and the ballroom, see also the above map). There is no certain order for the boards. Please be sure to stand with your poster for interaction during the poster time slot from 16:55-18:00 on Oct. 16.

Dressing Code and Temperature
Details please find online. Smart casual for most occasions.
Lingshui is in the tropical zone, hot and strong sunshine. Please make sure you take your sunglasses, suncream and hats. Please feel free to take your sneakers, jogging and walking can be enjoyable by the seaside.

Safety
Please take care of yourself when swim in the pool or walk by the seaside. Please do not swim in the sea. Please be careful not getting drunk. It’s dark and quiet around the venue hotel and seaside at night. For any emergency, please go to the hotel front desk for aid or help. Please also feel free to call our staff.

Concierge
There are restaurants at the venue hotel serving a variety of food. Convenient stores are also available around for snacks, drinks, vegetables, fruits, etc. The nearest shopping and catering center is about 4KM away. The best way to go there is by taxi. Other ways include bus and shuttle bus of the hotel. Besides, there is a town about 2 KM away.

Post tour options
To facilitate your travel and stay in Lingshui, the local travel agency provides several tourism routes. Please visit the online information and book with the agency directly. It's a deal between the delegate and travel agency. Or you may consult with the Concierge at the venue hotel for tailored service.
